POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform actuarial analyses to support the pricing of new and renewal business.
• Assist in the development, review, and enhancement of premium and rating structures.
• Support formal profitability reviews and contribute to effective margin management.
• Prepare and analyse loss and expense reserves to assess pricing adequacy and inform strategic direction.
• Provide actuarial insight and technical support to underwriting teams on pricing decisions.
• Actively progress toward actuarial qualification while continuously developing technical capability.

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Actively pursuing actuarial qualification through a recognised professional body.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an actuarial or analytical environment.
• Exposure to insurance pricing, profitability analysis, or actuarial modelling preferred.
• Experience across multiple actuarial or insurance functions will be advantageous.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; solid working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to statistical and actuarial modelling techniques.
• Basic experience with data manipulation tools such as Python, R, or SAS is advantageous.

• Strong analytical ability with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional communication skills and a positive, self‑driven attitude.
• English proficiency required (additional languages advantageous).
