Our client, an established Primary school in Jhb South has an opportunity available for a Principal. This is a growing school with a good reputation, excellent facilities and a great leadership team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification required:

BEd degree
SACE Registration

Skills and experience required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Principal position
Experience in a private school
Experience at a Primary School level

Job description:

Report to the Executive Head
Assist with budgets and forecasts for the primary school
Lead, manage and mentor staff in the Primary School
Attend parent meetings and assist parents with schooling needs
Develop Student Leadership
Assist and support Marketing, Finance and admin teams
Manage Public Relations and schools reputation
Co-ordination of the academic and timetable
Attend and support school at sport and cultural events
To implement and maintain the Code of Conduct
Student discipline and support
