POSITION INFO:

About the role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Principal Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities within the Solar Energy sector.

ð§ What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the design, specification, and implementation of electrical systems for major projects.
Oversee electrical engineering deliverables including schematics, layouts, single-line diagrams, and load calculations.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
Conduct technical reviews, site inspections, and system testing.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, civil, and project management teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Your primary duties will include leading a team of engineers, designing and implementing solar energy systems, and providing technical expertise for project development.

ð§ What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Eng / BSc)
ECSA registration (Pr.Eng) or eligibility preferred.
7+ years of experience in electrical design, construction, or commissioning.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (LV, MV, HV).
Experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
