Principal Hydrogeologist

POSITION INFO:

Responsible for Hydrogeological assessments

Contaminated groundwater assessments

Report writing and report reviews

Interpretation and conceptualization of hydrogeological data

Responsible for integration of complex projects and diverse technical teams

Responsible for developing technical solutions

Developing project implementation strategies

Providing mentorship and guiding career development

Responsible for business development in South Africa and the rest of Africa

Liaise with internal and external clients

Generating project opportunities

Skills & Experience:

Having management experience running a consultancy business will be beneficial

Must be an expert in Southern African Hydrogeological conditions

Must have a proven track record in Mine Water Management

Must have strong Mining Hydrogeology and Geology background

Must have experience in large and medium scale hydrogeological assessment of groundwater impacts, dewatering studies and groundwater resource development studies

Hydrogeological modelling expertise is advantageous

Qualification:

PHD / MSc in Hydrogeology

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
