Printing Manager - Bottles (Manufacturing)

Great opportunity to join an established manufacturing and FMCG distribution business as Printing Manager, focused on bottles. 

Products sold both in SA and International markets. This opportunity is based in Boksburg, Gauteng.  

This role will be responsible to plan and execute the screen printing of plastic bottles according to production schedules and productivity requirements. 

Core involvements include: 

• Plan and schedule bottle printing in order to meet daily production requirements.
• Improve productivity by managing continuous improvement projects along with Engineering team. 
• Conduct root cause analysis for stoppages & create preventative action plans
• Manage all printing consumables and assets within the department.
• Submit CAPEX requests for the Decorating department.
• Train and develop staff

Ideally the team is looking for :

• Strong Bachelor’s degree
• Exceptional organisational, problem solving and leadership skills
• Experience in plastics (preferably in cosmetic, pharma or personal care industries)
• Experience in bottle printing and/or decorating
