They are seeking an experienced and exceptional investment professional to join their Equity Fund Transacting team. The main objective of this team is to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, execute on the transaction and ensure optimal returns for investors.

As a senior associate in this team, you will be required to be actively involved in origination, deal evaluation and execution, portfolio management and leadership.

Key responsibilities of the position

Conducts sector analysis on predetermined sectors
Presents at Sector and Transaction Status Meetings.
Prepare proposals for and attend client meetings.
Proactively source and identify investment opportunities utilising formal and informal networks.
Gathering and analyzing data in order to build and articulate a detailed understanding of the key value drivers of businesses - including forming opinion on management of the company.
Assist in scoping and managing the due diligence process on potential targets – includes full coordination of service providers; full budget management, ESG scoping and ensuring all findings are incorporated into the model.
Overall accountability for the financial model.
Compile quarterly valuations and investment reports on portfolio companies reflecting an in-depth understanding of the company and external market drivers.
Monitor portfolio company performance and anticipate any issues (and suggest any proactive / remedial strategies).
Prepare quarterly valuations
Provide oversight, training, upskilling to Associates in all aspects of the investment value chain.
Openly shares insights and arguments to influence and shape the deal

Requirements

CA/Actuarial Science/BEng/CFA/Business Science/MBA

5 years PQE experience in private equity
