Roles and Responsibility

General and Task Management

• Achieve the required company quality standards following health and Safety and ISO processes
• Assist ISO Controller to compile standard operating procedures
• Co ordinate training and give training on standard operating procedures
• Assist employees with their leave forms and overtime sheets
• Completing injury on duty forms and assist in the incident investigation process
• Liaise and coordinate with Management on progress issues concerning production planning and quality
• Ensure that non-conformance is challenged and counter-measures are agreed and implemented
• Lead and motivate the team to create a high-performance culture where improvement suggestions are embraced
• Report and act upon plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance department
• Contribute in the improvement of working procedures by constantly looking for solutions to ensure the best productivity
• Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered to support dispatch time windows

People Management

• Deal with all personnel issues on shift, in line with Company Policy and Agreements
• Responsible for training of operators on products and processes within the local team
• Carry out incident, accident and non-conformity investigations associated with any injuries that take place while on duty
• Motivate and coach the team to operational success
• Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance
• Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out to the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviors expected of them
• Respond to operator queries and resolve them to the best of your ability
• Provide support and input to continuous improvement activities within the team

Relationship Management

• Work positively to fully define the processes/procedures/controls relevant to team activities.
• Provide support and input for continuous improvement activities within the team
• Liaise and communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained
• Feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operations, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· 5-6 years’ experience in a production plant and relationship management

· Higher education certificates related to manufacturing

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Knowledge of mechanical/technical operations on production line

· Ability to troubleshoot and resolve downtime on machinery

· Be Able to work Night Shift and Overtime

· Must be computer literate with MS word, Excel and report writing
