SUMMARY:

A leading engineering and minerals processing solutions company is seeking a Process Engineer to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a Chemical Engineer with experience in process design, mineral beneficiation, materials handling, and plant optimisation projects.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements BEng Chemical Engineering 3+ years' process engineering experience Experience in mineral processing, slurry handling, flotation, classification, filtration, or plant design advantageous Proficiency in process simulation and mass balance calculations Knowledge of commissioning and plant performance improvement Duties & Responsibilities Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and mass balance calculations. Conduct process design and optimisation studies for mineral processing plants. Support equipment sizing and selection including pumps, cyclones, thickeners, filters, and flotation equipment. Perform plant audits and identify opportunities for throughput and recovery improvements. Assist with pilot plant testing and interpretation of metallurgical test work. Liaise with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams during project execution. Prepare process design reports, technical specifications, and operating philosophies. Participate in commissioning activities and performance testing. Investigate process bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives across processing facilities. Assist clients with process optimisation and operational support. Apply now!
