Process Engineer

SUMMARY:

Our client in the Telecoms requires a Senior Process Engineer (black belts) to support their Business Unit with its process improvements initiative with key focus on first resolving internal process audit findings as per accepted mitigation plans and reengineer processes within billing and credit management functions to ensure that process changes address root causes related to process issues and sustainable solutions ultimately benefit the business.

POSITION INFO:

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3-year degree/diploma in Industrial Engineering (or a closely related field)
• Minimum 5-years’ solid process re-engineering experience
• Knowledge of EA/BPM tools (preferably iServer)
• Six Sigma (minimum Black belt) trained and certified at Senior level
• Project management skills (advantageous)
• Minimum 5-years Telco experience within the enterprise or B2B area (preferred)
• ITIL Service Management (preferred) that would need to engage with the respective departments to fulfil this scope
• Knowledge of DMAIC approach for delivering process optimisation projects
• Identifying process variances and waste in current processes
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Business process analysis and business process mapping for different business functions
• Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders
• Facilitating the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple key stakeholders
