SUMMARY:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a Germiston-based client looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a process-driven professional to take the lead on high-impact projects within modular process plant environments, where technical excellence and collaboration are key.

POSITION INFO:
As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimisation of process systems for modular plants. You will play a critical role in process design, simulation, equipment specification, and commissioning, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will also provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to drive project success.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in process engineering within industrial or modular plant environments
Strong experience in process design, simulation, and optimisation
Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen and HYSYS)
Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing/specification
Proven track record in commissioning and project execution
Strong leadership and mentoring ability
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
