Our client, a leader in the automotive sector, seeks to employ x2 Process Engineers to join their operations in Kariega, Eastern Cape.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Plan and visualise activities to target FMEA/Control Plan review and improvement.
Lead activities to achieve this.
Plan and implement/oversee activities to reduce the risk of non-conformances within manufacturing.
Plan and visualise activities to confirm process capabilities throughout the plant based on quality systems and best practice.
Identify and prioritise areas and/or characteristics requiring the most urgent intervention.
Lead and conclude projects to improve process capability and reduce variation in a sustainable manner.
Travel as necessary to support operations and affiliates.
Perform other assigned duties incidental to the occupation.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, or either S4 or N6
At least 2 years' experience in a complex manufacturing environment
Gear manufacturing experience coupled with machining experience highly advantageous
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and knowledge of GD&T
Good understanding of core tools
