Process Engineer

Position Overview:

Responsible for the formulation of the product process, the design of the plane layout, the formulation of personnel allocation and time quota. To supervise, train and direct the process operations of the direct worker. Responsible for equipment/tooling design, application and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 Years working experience in auto seat cover or garment industry, knowledge or ability of auto seat cover sewing and sewing process is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Be familiar with AutoCAD

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for formulating the product process, designing the layout, formulating staffing and man-hour quotas, and conducting man-hour research
• Develop and regularly review and update process documents including PFMEA, process flow diagrams, floor layouts, work instructions, rework instructions, etc .; train and guide direct process operations, and point out and correct irregular operations that violate process requirements in a timely manner. Ensure that the production process is in a controlled state.
• Collect data at the production site every day, analyse the weak links in the production process, and implement continuous improvement to improve production efficiency and reduce manufacturing cost.
• Design or select production equipment, fixtures, station equipment, etc. to ensure that the new equipment and fixtures meet safety, ergonomics and quality requirements.
• Responsible for providing technical requirements for equipment and tooling, and participating in supplier certification; Responsible for equipment installation, commissioning and technical acceptance.
• Responsible for the analysis and solution of potential safety hazards on the production site, and constantly improving the safety operation rules of each position.
• Responsible for the start-up of new product projects, including the requirements for product manufacturing feasibility, equipment, tooling, tools and gauges; Contact the design department to obtain the latest information and give suggestions on the improvement of product design; Prepare all process documents for new product start-up.
• Ability to work to meet specific client requirements.
