POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

An international company is looking for a dynamic Processing Engineer to manage all production activities and safety standards at a mineral processing plant. Document and review the output and improve the plant. Budget and liaise with stakeholders and exhibit your expertise.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
Higher National Diploma in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering

Job Experience & Skills Required:

10 years’ experience on a processing plant;
4+ years’ experience in a senior management role;
Proven plant optimization and improvement of business operations skills;
Knowledge of legal compliance and technical risk management;
Financial management skills;
Maintenance management;
The ability to compile reports and present them;
Project management and people skills;
Employee management skills;
Time management skills and ability to do your own admin;
Experience in the chrome or platinum industry will be advantageous.
