SUMMARY:
Our client in Silvertondale, Pretoria is looking for a Procurement Administrator.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate primary responsibility will be the procurement of materials, as well as assisting with the booking and coordination of materials, plant, and equipment for their construction sites. Salary will be negotiable depending on experience and overall suitability. The candidate should have the following qualities: Someone who is broad-minded. Eager to learn. Capable of taking ownership of the stores and stock management function with accuracy and attention to detail once trained. A professional appearance and presentation are very important, as this person will represent the company both internally and externally. The candidate must understand the importance of teamwork and business continuity. Although the primary focus of this position is procurement and stores management, they are looking for someone who is willing to learn other administrative functions over time, including other's roles, job card administration, and safety administration. This cross-training will ensure that the office can continue to operate efficiently whenever cover is required. This administration function (i.e. job cards and costing) is also important, a team will always be available over the construction break in December, this person needs to assist with administration every third year at the office for the team that is on standby. Candidate must be a reliable, adaptable, organised individual who is willing to grow with the company and become an integral part of their office operations.
