SUMMARY:
Brand new Steel Mill Buyer to join busy team based in Wadeville. We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience as a mill buyer within the steel industry PLEASE NOTE ONLY CANDIDATES WITHIN THE STEEL INDUSRTY OR PREVIOUS STEEL KNOWLEDGE WILL BE CONSIDERED.

POSITION INFO:

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in steel mill buying with a proven track record

Minimum Qualifications:

Senior Certificate Grade 12

Behavioural Skills:

Dynamic Team player
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Accurate with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good interpersonal skills

Technical Skills:

Syspro would be an advantage
Previous Steel industry product knowledge
Experience in forecasting

Brief Job Description:

Mill buying on structural / coils
Forecasting of stock holding
Placing and expediting of mill orders
