PROCUREMENT MANAGER – SOLAR PV - RENEWABLE ENERGY - CAPE TOWN

POSITION INFO:
The main purpose of the role: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in handling procurement for solar PV projects with a strong background in handling international container shipping \/ freight forwarding and a proven track record in solar energy projects. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering \/ Diploma in Mechanical \/Civil \/ Electrical Eng with at least 5 - 7 years' procurement and logistics experience Minimum 4 years procurement of material procurement of solar photovoltaic systems and related technologies Strong knowledge of handling end-to-end international shipping \/ freight forwarding \/ logistics Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
