POSITION INFO:
Job Description: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure a consistent and cost-effective supply of key products Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify opportunities to expand the supplier network Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for the business Manage day-to-day procurement activities to ensure operational requirements are met Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement plans with business objectives Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and operational efficiency Lead, mentor, and support the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives Skills & Experience: Agriculture\/ Meat Industry exposure - NON-NEGOTIABLE 5+ years' procurement experience 5+ years' management experience Afrikaans speaking Knowledge and awareness of trends in the meat industry Marketing and Sales Financial Awareness Detail focused Qualification: Diploma\/ Degree in Farming & Agriculture - NON-NEGOTIABLE For more information connect with us on and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Financial recruitment vacancies.
