Procurement Manager

SUMMARY:
Manage all Supplier/vendor relationships in a way to maximize cost saving whilst ensuring efficiency

POSITION INFO:

As one of the largest and fastest growing Health and Fitness Company within South Africa, we are looking for a Dynamic individual who can ensure that all processes, checks and procedures are implemented within the Procurement department, ensuring best practice is applied and the Company''s Procurement department exceeds all expectations. This job will entail the following:

1. Establishment of a preffered supplier/ vendors list
2. ensuring fixed pricing and SLA''s with suppliers/ vendors based on established business requirements.
3. Creating and maintain clear processes and procedures to maintain the ageed upon turnaround times.
4. Analyze spend on key aspects, ensuring that the best price for the best items are obtained.
5. Ensure all quotes and PO''s are validated and checked and as such adhere to COmpany specifications and agreements.
6. Manage existing Service Providers.
7. Provide clear weekly and monthly reports regarding spend against budget.
8. Analyze areas of concern and create remedial action plans to improve in these areas.
9. Manage deliveries of items to the relevant clubs in a manner that enhances turnaround time and efficiency.
10. Identify strategic partnerships that will benefit all parties.
11. identify areas where costs can be reduced.
12. Research current trends and future trends with regards to Procurement, ensuring that best practise is maintained.
