JOB SUMMARY:
A Manufacturing company based in KwaZulu Natal is urgently looking for a Procurement Manager to Develop and implement procurement strategies across the business as well as developing and implementing category management plans to meet the business need.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Matric
BCom or Degree Supply Chain Management Business Management / Business Management
A minimum of five years senior procurement experience, preferably within the manufacturing environment
Experience in accounting advantageous.

Job description

Identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial (price and cost savings), reputational, ethical and supply chain risks to minimize negative impact on category objectives while encouraging opportunity and innovation.
Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement and the procurement category, to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business and policy directions
Develop and manage the proposal, bidding, and negotiation processes while adhering to applicable legal standards and codes of ethical conduct.
