Procurement Manager

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Matric
• BCom or Degree Supply Chain Management Business Management / Business Management
• A minimum of five years senior procurement experience, preferably within the manufacturing environment
• Experience in accounting advantageous.

Job description

• Identify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial (price and cost savings), reputational, ethical and supply chain risks to minimize negative impact on category objectives while encouraging opportunity and innovation.
• Provide expert advice to key stakeholders on all aspects of procurement and the procurement category, to encourage innovative practices and support delivery of business and policy directions
• Develop and manage the proposal, bidding, and negotiation processes while adhering to applicable legal standards and codes of ethical conduct.
