POSITION INFO:
Purpose of the position: 1. Project Management of Engineering Projects from a Procurement Perspective 2. Strategic and Routine Supplier Management Major Compulsory Responsibilities Significance Compulsory Responsibilities Lead procurement activities for engineering projects to ensure resource assurance, material availability, and alignment with project schedules. Manage supplier lead-time planning and expediting to mitigate delays and ensure on-time project execution. Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, operations, logistics, finance, and suppliers) to ensure procurement deliverables support project milestones. Drive project delivery assurance through proactive risk identification, mitigation planning, and supplier performance tracking. Monitor procurement KPIs, cost, quality, and schedule adherence to support successful project completion. Manage tender implementation (RFQ\/RFP processes), supplier evaluations, negotiations, and sourcing recommendations. Other Competencies\/Attributes: 1.
