SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager, with a strong background in solar PV projects, to lead and manage procurement activities across multiple renewable energy projects. This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier reliability, and the timely delivery of materials and equipment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute procurement strategies for solar PV projects (C&I).
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with the suppliers of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and BOS components.
Manage supplier relationships and ensure performance, quality, and compliance.
Lead tendering and contract negotiation processes.
Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks within the renewable energy sector.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Track procurement KPIs, cost savings, and supplier performance metrics.
Manage logistics coordination, import/export processes, and inventory planning.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
5–10+ years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in solar or renewable energy.
Strong knowledge of solar PV components and global supplier markets.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
Familiarity with EPC environments and project-based procurement.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
