Procurement and Warehousing Controller – Raw Materials

Our client is a global leader within its market, a successfully established  manufacturing and engineering organisation, and they are seeking to appoint a Procurement and Warehousing Controller of their raw materials department.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
• Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, of which at least 2 years being in procurement.
• Experience in a manufacturing/procurement environment required.
• Willing to travel internationally to meet with suppliers.

Key Performance Areas (not limited to):

• Warehousing and stock controlling of raw materials.
• Procurement and transport of raw materials.
• Management of scrap and waste control.
• Procurement of company vehicles and forklifts.
