SUMMARY:

Our client is a global leader within its market, a successfully established manufacturing and engineering organization, and they are seeking to appoint a Procurement and Warehousing Controller for their raw materials department.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
Qualification in Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, of which at least 2 years being in procurement.
Experience in a manufacturing/procurement environment required.
Willing to travel internationally to meet with suppliers.

Key Performance Areas (not limited to):

Warehousing and stock controlling of raw materials.
Procurement and transport of raw materials.
Management of scrap and waste control.
Procurement of company vehicles and forklifts.
