We are looking for a smart, ambitious and innovative Technical Product. The successful candidate will be based in Wynberg, Cape Town.

They provide real-time location-based ads to mobile users increasing ad relevance and are expanding into other media types such as out-of-home advertising as digital transformation takes root. How they provide value - eg: users reading news on a mobile site like timeslive.co.za in Long Street, Cape Town would be served an ad for a KFC Zinger Burger showing they are 200m away. That is way more relevant than a generic ad for a flight. This relevance is supported through sophisticated targeting and big data gathering and processing.

Advertising is at the cutting edge of new technology and the successful candidate will be exposed to AI, Machine learning, Big Data, Visualisation, AR, VR, Creative executions and innovative features that touch end users.

The ideal candidate for this role; you will:

• Drive feature development against business OKRs(Objectives and Key Results)
• Write in-depth scopes based on research and analysis
• Conduct backlog grooming and sprint planning
• Perform bug diagnosis in web environment using browser DevTools and SQL
• Perform QA on all Sprint releases: features and bug fixes
• Perform data analysis to aid feature planning and debugging
• Perform basic wireframing to aid feature conceptualisation
• Manage cross-functional features or projects
• Manage internal stakeholder expectations across teams
• Own and develop a product roadmap

Minimum requirements:

• At least 3 years’ product related experience
• Languages and tools:
o HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript: Ability to read and understand
o MySQL: Extraction
o Spreadsheet (MS Excel or Google Sheets): Formulas and Formatting

Additional requirements:

• Knowledge of cross-browser testing
• Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of ad tech or advertising industry advantageous
