SUMMARY:
Gijima Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Product Owner – Online to define, shape and deliver customer-centric digital capabilities across a leading e-commerce platform. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative Product Owner to work at the intersection of customer experience, technology and commercial strategy while leading products from concept through to delivery and continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements Qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience. Diploma, Advanced Certificate or equivalent qualification. 7+ years' experience within a technology and\/or retail environment. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Owner and\/or Business Analyst. Product Owner or Product Manager certification will be advantageous. Agile or Scrum certification (CSPO, PMC or similar) will be advantageous. Core Competencies Customer and quality focused with the ability to simplify complex problems. Strong commercial and economic decision-making capability. Ability to use data and insights to influence strategic decisions. Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and stakeholder engagements. Ability to create wireframes, product specifications and user stories. Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities Product Discovery and Solution Design Lead the discovery and definition of new digital product features and capabilities. Facilitate requirements workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Produce wireframes, process flows, context diagrams and high-level solution documentation. Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical specifications. Validate solution designs against customer needs and business objectives. Conduct competitor analysis and customer research to inform future product direction. Product Backlog Management and Delivery Own and continuously refine the product backlog. Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Prioritise work according to commercial value, business objectives and delivery capacity. Participate in Agile ceremonies including: PI Planning Sprint Planning Scrum of Scrums Daily Stand-ups System Demonstrations Inspect & Adapt sessions Ensure backlog readiness and remove delivery impediments where required. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary decision-maker for the product within the delivery squad. Engage business stakeholders to align product priorities and secure approvals. Facilitate decision-making using commercial value, customer impact and cost-of-delay principles. Ensure governance, compliance and change management processes are followed throughout the product lifecycle. Customer Experience and Commercial Delivery Champion customer-first product design and digital experiences. Drive improvements that enhance customer acquisition, retention and conversion. Define and monitor key product performance indicators including: Revenue Customer engagement Operational efficiency Net Promoter Score (NPS) Analyse post-release performance and recommend future enhancements. Contribute to product release planning and milestone tracking. Technical Collaboration Work closely with Architects, Engineering teams and Technical Leads to define platform integrations. Develop business value cases that demonstrate customer desirability, technical feasibility and commercial viability. Identify capability gaps and contribute to future-state product design. Collaborate with UX\/UI teams to ensure intuitive customer journeys. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide business approval prior to release. Continuous Improvement Serve as a Product subject matter expert. Promote best practices in Agile product management. Identify opportunities to improve product discovery, delivery and performance measurement. Contribute to roadmap planning through data-driven reporting and customer insights. Why Apply?
