A global energy trading business is looking for a Product Risk Analyst to join their fast-paced and analytically driven risk management team. Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate daily with Risk Managers, senior risk leaders, and traders.
• Generate and analyse daily risk reports, including profit and loss (P&L) reports of trading desks.
• Assist with enhancing systems and reporting processes to support accurate and efficient data delivery.
• Identify discrepancies or potential issues proactively and ensure their timely resolution.
• Present risk findings and complex issues in a clear, concise manner to internal stakeholders.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and support as required by the risk team.

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred).
• Experience: Ideally some experience in a risk or trading environment, though driven graduates with the right skill set will be considered.
• Skills: Strong analytical and numerical abilities; proficiency in Excel and a logical mindset; and programming (e.g., Python or SQL) is advantageous.
• Must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a high-pressure, high-accuracy environment.
