A leading engineering player in the capital equipment space is seeking a high-caliber Product Sales Manager (Process) to lead full-cycle sales execution and drive revenue growth. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to engage credibly with process engineers and mine planners, providing value-added mineral separation solutions to key players across the industry. Key Responsibilities Revenue Generation: Own and execute the full-cycle sales process, targeting budget delivery and maintaining a gross margin of . Pipeline & Forecast Management: Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline worth at least three times the annual sales target, utilizing structured sales methodologies to optimize conversion rates. Market & Strategy Development: Identify and engage with at least two new market segments annually while driving continuous stakeholder engagement through frequent client site visits. Technical Solution Development: Match Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) directly to client benefits, facilitate test work projects to completion, and execute comprehensive site assessments. Tender & Commercial Management: Manage large capital equipment tenders, complete detailed costing sheets, and oversee risk assessments (including legal terms, risk management, and performance guarantees). Market Intelligence: Collect and submit structured competitor intelligence and customer feedback to align product development with market demands. Position Requirements Qualifications & Experience Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, with a strong preference for Process Engineering or Metallurgy. Experience: 5 to 8 years of engineering sales experience in a similar role within a Mining\/Process Equipment or Consulting Engineering environment. Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of selling large-scale capital equipment into the mining and minerals processing markets. Technical & Core Competencies Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with mineral separation equipment is highly preferred, with specific knowledge in Processing equipment such as Jigs, UCC, DMS, and Sensor Sorting . Commercial Acumen: Expertise in costing, estimating, and navigating complex commercial and risk structures for large capital equipment tenders. Technical Literacy: Ability to deliver, pitch, and manage comprehensive written technical proposals and reports. Operations Savvy: Deep understanding of plant design and operations to hold peer-level technical discussions with mine planners and engineers. Tools & Mobility: Advanced computer literacy, a valid driver's license with own transport, and a willingness to travel\/stay on-site for extended periods as required.
