SUMMARY:
A global Agrochemical company is seeking a dynamic Product Specialist to plan, co-ordinate, manage and evaluate Brassicas and Leaf Crops as well as providing specialized, technical advice to customers in support of the companyÃ¢Â€Â™s product portfolio.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a minimum BSc (Hons) Degree in Plant Production/ Plant Science or related field of study
2-4 years’ work experience within the Agricultural industry will be required
Must have a high level of analytical thinking, good planning and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Above-average communication skills, specifically in English and Afrikaans with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders of all levels and experience will be required
Willingness and ability to travel nationally is essential

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Planning, implementing and evaluating trials.
Applying technical and crop knowledge to support sales and marketing efforts.
Developing sales strategies.
Developing and implementing crop variety strategies.
Maintaining crop and variety knowledge.
Performing product development training of sales representatives.
Providing technical support to customers and sales teams.
Liaising with marketing/sales teams, global and local suppliers and key clients.

Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
