Product Specialist: Group Risk

SUMMARY:
Our Renowned Client in the insurance industry is seeking a Product Specialist in Group Risk based in Sandton

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 3 + years experience, 3rd party, Financial Distribution with Group Risk specialty Broker Consultant
• Must have 120 FIAS Credits and be able to be a Rep for FSP 
• NQF level 5 industry related qualification   
  
  
• Screening and analyzing new and existing business pricing requests
• Analyze and format data received from the broker 
  Gathering, assessing and analyzing all relevant information needed to Provide a new business cover proposal and Review existing business premium rates and terms and conditions 
• Preparing quality Cover Proposal Documents for both existing and new business (including program runs to determine rates) which are accurate and timeous
• Compiling, monitoring and analyze claims experience for new and existing business 
• Assessing and calculating the risk rate, free cover limits and underwriting requirements for the products requested utilizing the current pricing tools. 
• Provide feedback to Product Development on current benefits and opportunities  
• Determining suitable terms and conditions so that the risk can be managed. 
• Consider wider topics of risk management such as occupational and industry risks. 
• Identifying and solving of problems within the business environment 
• Liaising with clients (both external and internal) on rates, products, tenders, revision and other risk issues 
• Collaborate with reinsures for benefit rates on a treaty - and facultative arrangement basis 
• Retrieve data from administration systems
