SUMMARY:
Our Renowned Client in the insurance industry is seeking a Product Specialist in Group Risk based in Sandton

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Minimum 3 + years experience, 3rd party, Financial Distribution with Group Risk specialty Broker Consultant
Must have 120 FIAS Credits and be able to be a Rep for FSP
NQF level 5 industry related qualification
Screening and analyzing new and existing business pricing requests
Analyze and format data received from the broker
Gathering, assessing and analyzing all relevant information needed to Provide a new business cover proposal and Review existing business premium rates and terms and conditions
Preparing quality Cover Proposal Documents for both existing and new business (including program runs to determine rates) which are accurate and timeous
Compiling, monitoring and analyze claims experience for new and existing business
Assessing and calculating the risk rate, free cover limits and underwriting requirements for the products requested utilizing the current pricing tools.
Provide feedback to Product Development on current benefits and opportunities
Determining suitable terms and conditions so that the risk can be managed.
Consider wider topics of risk management such as occupational and industry risks.
Identifying and solving of problems within the business environment
Liaising with clients (both external and internal) on rates, products, tenders, revision and other risk issues
Collaborate with reinsures for benefit rates on a treaty - and facultative arrangement basis
Retrieve data from administration systems
