Production Cost Controller
Johannesburg Industrial
R40 000 - R45 000 CTC

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Proven work experience as Cost Accountant, System Cost Analyst
Manufacturing experience essential
Must be willing to be on the Factory floor
Experience with accounting software, Sage X3 and CaseWare
Excellent analytical skills
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
Be able to read drawings (Advantageous)
BCom in Management Accounting, or CIMA Qualification (Advantageous)
Determine and calculate overhead and labour costs
Calculate, update and maintain standard costs on Sage X3.
Calculate costing for new products on Sage X3
Analyse and Investigate standard and actual costs variances for inaccuracies
Review production and operational costs for recommendation of cost-effective solutions
Analyse and report sales and profit margins for the production division
Review, Analyse and Maintain the BOMs and routings
Managing and Reconciling Stock and WIP for production division
Responsible for the budgets (expense and capex) and investment proposals for production division
Responsible for correlating information to assist in cost calculation with various departments, Sales, Production, Planning and Procurement.
Monthly management accounts and reporting for the production division
