SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a driven and handsâon Production Engineer to support and optimise our precast concrete manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys being close to production, improving processes, and ensuring highâquality output within a fastâpaced industrial environment.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

Plan, manage, and optimise daily production processes within the precast concrete manufacturing facility
Improve production efficiency, workflow, and output through engineering best practices
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
Support quality control and ensure compliance with SANS, SANRAL, and internal quality standards
Collaborate with design, maintenance, logistics, and management teams to ensure seamless production delivery
Assist with process improvements, tooling, mould optimisation, and costâsaving initiatives
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and operational standards on the production floor

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment
Exposure to precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing advantageous
Strong understanding of production planning, process optimisation, and quality systems
Practical, handsâon engineering mindset with strong problemâsolving ability
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement
Competent in MS Office and production reporting tools

Qualification:

BTech in Civil Engineering/N DIP in Civil Engineering
Drivers License and Own Car

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
