SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists within the structural precast concrete industry for a driven, handsâon Production Engineer to support and optimise precast manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working close to production, driving process improvements, and ensuring highâquality output in a fastâpaced industrial environment.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Plan, manage, and optimise daily production processes within the precast concrete manufacturing site/facility.
Improve production efficiency, workflow, and output through engineering best practices.
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
Support quality control and ensure compliance with SANS, SANRAL, and internal quality standards.
Collaborate with design, maintenance, logistics, and management teams to ensure seamless production delivery.
Assist with process improvements, tooling, mould optimisation, and costâsaving initiatives.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and operational standards on the production floor.

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment.
Exposure to precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing advantageous.
Strong understanding of production planning, process optimisation, and quality systems.
Practical, handsâon engineering mindset with strong problemâsolving ability.
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
Competent in MS Office and production reporting tools.

Qualification:

BTech in Civil Engineering
Drivers License and Own Car
