JOB SUMMARY:
Have you supervised in a production environment and managed the manufacturing staff successfully?

Our client is looking for a hands-on, one step ahead candidate, who can motivate and manage a small production team, with tight deadlines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric and relevant qualifications highly advantageous
Own transport and drivers license
Thorough understanding of production operations.
Able to speak English and Afrikaans
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with ability to train staff
Strong verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs

DUTIES

Train and manage production employees on the assigned shift
Oversee the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift
Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations to staff
Manage employees in the range of ten employees
Prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations with positive results
Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment
Troubleshoots issues that arise and provide solutions
Ensure that employees comply with applicable health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Ensure reports are completed
Performs any other related duties as assigned within the company

R15000, dependent on experience
