Production Manager

SUMMARY:
A well-established manufacturing company in the textile and clothing sector is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee operations at its facility in Durban North, Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing multiple production lines within clean and fast-paced manufacturing environments.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and control production processes to meet quality, output, and efficiency targets.
• Manage and optimise multiple production lines to ensure the timely delivery of finished goods.
• Implement and monitor production schedules in alignment with business goals.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations.
• Supervise production staff and provide leadership, training, and development.
• Monitor productivity metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and present production reports to senior management.

• Minimum of a Diploma in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a production management role.
• Experience in textile, clothing, or clean manufacturing environments is essential.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and health and safety standards.
• Proven ability to manage teams and production lines efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
