SUMMARY:
A well-established manufacturing company in the textile and clothing sector is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead and oversee operations at its facility in Durban North, Phoenix. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing multiple production lines within clean and fast-paced manufacturing environments.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and control production processes to meet quality, output, and efficiency targets.
Manage and optimise multiple production lines to ensure the timely delivery of finished goods.
Implement and monitor production schedules in alignment with business goals.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations.
Supervise production staff and provide leadership, training, and development.
Monitor productivity metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and present production reports to senior management.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Diploma in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in a production management role.
Experience in textile, clothing, or clean manufacturing environments is essential.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and health and safety standards.
Proven ability to manage teams and production lines efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
