Introduction

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
• Coordinate procurement of raw materials and ensure availability of resources.
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to optimize efficiency.

Operations Management

• Supervise and lead production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime.

Continuous Improvement

• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and reduce process variation.
• Monitor performance metrics and report on production outcomes.
• Drive ongoing operational improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and quality teams to align operations.
• Communicate production targets, progress, and challenges to senior management.
• Support new product launches and process changes.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and present production reports to management.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in production or manufacturing management.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP systems and production planning tools.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
