Production Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established firm based in Kempton Park is seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing process with the Production Team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a relevant field.
• Relevant degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Exposure in setting up ISO 9001 and 140001 standards.
• Audit management.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee the manufacturing process with the Production Team.
• Ensure minimum downtime.
• Ensuring production lines runs without problems.
• QA and Repairs Team technicians support provision.
• Ensuring quality standards are met through the manufacturing process.
• Ensuring safety or industry related regulations are met within SLA agreements.
• ISO9001 & ISO14001 initiatives and objectives development, management and support.
• Audit & QA Reports preparation.
• Analysing budgets.
• Kitting of Production Run BOM’s for hand over to the PCB Assembly Technician.
• Production cost control and waste identification and rectification.
• Weekly Production Schedules management.
• Giving technical expertise on QA and repairs QAR Process.
• Production process activities management.
• Controls, Management of stock and Warehousing.
• Electrical and mechanical component ordering based on the BOM of products.
• Warehousing, raw material stock and logistics handling.
• Ensuring effective and efficient delivery between teams.
• Staff performance assessments.
• Ensuring safety standards and legislation are met.
• QA and QAR report development.
• Practical and creative solution finding.
• Team culture development for high performance.

Additional Information:

• Operating Hours:  7:15 AM - 5:15 PM.
