Production Manager

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

To optimise the production processes to achieve the business unit objectives

• Assist with developing and plant medium to long term manufacturing strategy and operational plans
• Align plant manufacturing strategy to the overall business strategy
• Plan, schedule and monitor production
• Schedule and arrange maintenance and repair for manufacturing operations
• Authorize production plans
• Deliver operational results in accordance with factory master plan and budget
• Ensure appropriate standards are established for plant utilisation and efficiency, and that performance is constantly monitored against these standardsÂ
• Meet all deadlines and implement continuous improvement saving
• Optimise the manufacturing process
• Ensure the optimal and efficient use of resources
• Analyse and interpret production statistics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage plant improvement projects
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing related problems
• Monitor the level of production material to ensure enough material is used to support productionÂ

Minimum requirements

• Minimum 5 year''s in a Production / Engineering role
• Must have at least 5 years experience in the automotive / manufacturing / production environmentÂ
