Production Manager | Automotive – Port Elizabeth

Salary: R700-800K Per Annum

Purpose of Position:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Manager for the Automotive industry. The Production Manager will oversee the production, warehouse, bodyshops and adjustment operations within the Plant. This is a permanent position based in Port Elizabeth.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric; Recognised National Diploma or Degree in Production Management;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Automotive industry;
• Minimum 2 years experience within a Management Position;
• MS Office Suite; SAP
• Valid Drivers Licence, Own Transport
• R700 – 800K Annually; Provident fund Company 8% contribution employee contribution 7.5%

Duties:

• Oversee operations within the production, warehouse, bodyshop and adjustment departments
• Oversee that department supervisors keep in line with the production department procedures   
• Assist in control of budget and reduced costs     
• Oversee achievement of daily / monthly departmental targets   
• Formulate targets and goals and oversee the achievement thereof          
• Assist and coordinate of stock takes       
• Developing and implementing action plans        
• Identify and participate in training activities       
• Reporting on production figures
• Assist in ensuring OHS standards are upheld       
• Planning and organising production schedules
• Assisting in determining quality control standards for production
• Assisting in organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
• Liaising with buyers and finance department on production orders
• Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports for both factory managers and head office
