SUMMARY:
The incumbent will be responsible for the operation of fermentation plant and utilities, ensuring adherence to the fermentation plan, productivity and quality requirements.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BSc or MTech – Chemical Engineering / Biotechnology – Essential and non-negotiable.
Execute plant procedures to meet productivity, efficiency, food safety & quality targets. This will require continuous monitoring of plant parameters.
The operation of the fermentation plant (upstream, downstream and field operators), including plant utilities.
Liaise on and coordinate maintenance activities on the utilities and fermentation plan with the Maintenance and Project Managers.
Carry out problem identification, solving and analysis as well as production planning & scheduling.
