SUMMARY:
Corporate Services company seeks the skills of an Operations Manager with vast experience in Production Process with an end focus on providing the best customer service to industries such as a Hospitality and Healthcare.
Must be able to work shifts, weekends and Public Holidays when required, therefore own transport needed.

POSITION INFO:

Competencies required:

Comprehensive understanding of the supply and demand chain
Comprehensive understanding of the production process
Comprehensive understanding of maintenance processes required in a production environment
Understanding of labor relations, grievance procedures and disciplinary procedures and the ability to expedite relevant actions/measures
Understanding of finance, financial systems and the managing of

Duties:

Ensure that all quality control practices are implemented and adhered to
Identify, develop, implement and ensure compliance to standard operating procedures relating to the production and quality-related processes
Draw up production planning schedules, monitoring and tracking of compliance against the schedules and the ability to pro-actively take corrective actions on deviations from the production schedules
Analyze, optimize and improve the overall performance of the equipment, staff and the production processes
Manage the performance of the staff and discipline staff as and when required
Mentor and coach supervisors, team leaders and production workers
Manage costs and expenditure related to the business to ensure cost-effective processes and practices
Quality Management Systems
Logistics – in terms of collections and deliveries

Requirements:

ND: Production Management / Operations Management
Minimum 6 years Production Management experience in a customer service-related industry
Ability to manage the production processes and staff in the plant
Must have own transport
Own Driver’s License and vehicle.
