Operations & Production - Senior Manager –POS26172

Based: Benrose

Salary: R60-65 000.00 pm

Experience & Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Production Management, Operations, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Industry Experience: Minimum 10–12 years in the printing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role specifically within wide-format or industrial signage environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of roll-to-roll, flatbed (rigid substrate) printing, and automated finishing/cutting technologies (e.g., Zünd, Kongsberg, or similar).

Core Competencies

Operational Strategy: Proven ability to design and implement workflows that reduce turnaround times while maintaining high-quality output.

Financial Acumen: Strong experience in managing departmental budgets, calculating job-level gross margins, and overseeing international procurement of substrates and consumables.

Quality Assurance: Expert knowledge of colour management, material compatibility, and finishing standards.

Project Management: Ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Team Management: Ability to lead and upskill a diverse production team, fostering a high-performance culture centred on precision and accountability.

Problem Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting machinery downtime or production bottlenecks.

Communication: High-level professional English for reporting to the CEO and collaborating with the Sales and Client Service teams.
