POSITION INFO:
We’re on the lookout for someone with 5+ years of experience running a plant 24/7 in an FMCG manufacturing environment. You should have at least 3 years of supervisory or management experience under your belt. If you’ve got an Engineering or Production degree qualification, even better!

Knowledge is power, and we’re looking for someone with a good grasp of labour and HR management, ISO standards, as well as Total Quality Management and World Class Manufacturing. If you have experience in food manufacturing, that’s definitely a big bonus! And if you’re a whiz at MS Office, you’ll fit right in.

So what will you be doing in this exciting role? Well, you’ll be the master of productivity and quality; reporting on any suboptimal performance (in terms of budget, safety, quality, labour shortages and IR). You’ll be the maestro of managing and planning all manufacturing operations on site. When nonconformities rear their ugly heads, you’ll swoop in and implement the necessary corrective actions!

As the go-to person on-site, you’ll stay on top of site needs and introduce new technology. You’ll also have the opportunity to set out capital investment requirements in line with the company’s best practice policy. Managing staff performance, training, and development will be in your capable hands, and you’ll empower your team by clarifying roles and providing them with the means to succeed.

Oh, and let’s not forget about investigating stock variances and implementing countermeasures. And if that isn’t enough, you’ll be leading the charge on the World Class Manufacturing front, ensuring the plant’s WCM strategy is on point, consistent, and cost-effective.
