JOB SUMMARY:
My client in Durban is seeking an experienced Production Manager with experience in an engineering production environment, preferably electronics manufacturing.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum and Key Requirements

Tertiary qualification in Electronics Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/Production Management is essential
Minimum of 10 years previous experience in a managerial role in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
Excellent leadership and management skills are critical
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills at a technical and professional level
A seasoned, experienced leader who can select, teach, coach and mentor a workforce to support quality-driven, customer focused operations

Responsibilities include:
Production management
Quality management
Health and safety
Repairs and maintenance
Staff management
