R 25 000 - R 27 000 CTC (depending on experience)

Our client is in die agricultural industry and they are looking for an energetic and pro-active Production Planner to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• 3 Year degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• Experience within a production, and logistical environment
• General knowledge of accounting
• Strong communication and administrative skills
• Excellent inter-personal and customer relations skills

• Plan and schedule daily loads as per customer orders
• Ensuring orders are scheduled according to mill production capabilities
• Maintain spreadsheet of clients with monthly loads and prices
• Constant contact with mill adjusting production planning as needed
• Lead the daily production meeting
• Ensure mill is working towards the correct daily production targets
• Communicate transport arrangements to Logistics coordinator
• Assist with logistics arrangements during Logistics coordinator off weekend (minimum 1 weekend per month)
• Ensure that all compliance and quality standards for exports are met
