POSITION INFO:

Production Planner

Reporting to: Operations
Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, cost, and implement customer projects
Perform short-term and mid-term production plans
Cost, estimate, and schedule materials, resources, and equipment
Manage order status, planning, and forecasts
Analyse order plans and critical timelines
Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors
Ensure on-time delivery and cost control

Implement order management policies and guidelines
Cost projects accurately and set targets
Manage order operations performance
Update production program and manage customer updates
Prevent delays and achieve customer priorities
Inform stakeholders about progress and risks

What You Bring

Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
5-10 years of relevant work experience
Exposure to CNC, lathes, and milling machines
Experience in turbines, compressors, manufacturing, and refurbishment
Proven track record in driving efficiency
Advanced theoretical understanding and vocational experience
