JOB SUMMARY:
International food manufacturing comapny requires the above to be an experienced MRP and Production Planner to organise production according to demand and quality standards ensuring that goods are produced on time, and who are well-versed in production procedures, organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Previous experience having worked as a Production Planner or in a related role ideally working within the food / FMCG or related production / or any manufacturing industry is essential.
Previous experience working within production scheduling is essential.
Previous experience in Material Resource Planning (MRP) is essential.
Must have working knowledge of MS Office and planning or scheduling tools as well as good excel skills.
Previous experience having worked on an ERP System is essential.
Must have a good overview knowledge of the entire product supply process including production lines and capacities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Executing production planning on production resource level within this international food manufacturing company.
Ensuring product availability leveraging on expertise managed production resources and systems, driving process standardization and automation and maintaining strong relationship with the key interfaces.
Validating demands on an ERP System based on inventory levels and forecasted demands to provide an extensive production plan on detailed material level, aligning all resources including materials, labour availability and equipment and to update regularly based on availability of these resources.
Organising and controlling the planning of production by creation and adjustment of process orders to ensure the demand requirements are fulfilled to guarantee supply to the business.
Maintaining interface between sales and production in the short-term planning horizon to communicate product availability.
Driving delivery dates to accommodate customer relations and ensuring on-time delivery of customer orders.
Interfacing effectively across product supply functions in order to ensure smooth performance and on-time-in-full product supply locally.
Developing and maintaining full monthly production schedule, validated weekly to ensure the completion of all required production as well as KPI management and liaising constantly with production on availability of materials to ensure proper time and resource allocation as well as accurate customer service.
Preparing and submitting status and performance reports and presenting to management.
