Opportunity Available!! Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a Production Planning Specialist to join their dynamic team in Pretoria.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Description:

Vehicle specification, pricing and positioning: To prepare and develop vehicle specification and price lists with Marketing/external supplier.
Visits to Dealer Customers: Visit high contribution dealers. Identify Customer requirements/needs and implement required/appropriate action, analyse the market, to determine opportunities to enter new segments and grow in current segments. Build relationships with dealers as well as other suppliers
Product Liaison and Assistance. To attend to all customer, dealers queries and provide any assistance and information required on products, to ensure customer satisfaction.
Vehicle Point of Sales and Training Material support. To provide Accurate and Competitive product information by verifying specifications and vehicle positioning for both Dealer POS, USP and Training as developed by Product and Marketing and Training Academy, respectively.
Manage and Control New Product Introduction: incl. current model enhancements: Market analysis and new model introduction. To compile all viability and feasibility studies for new models and for existing models in line with overall company product strategy and Equipment adjusted pricing done for all models vs competition.
Master coded execution list. To extract and accurately upload all master data product information and to actively manage this on a daily basis. To ensure that new projects relating to product technology or models are managed in a timely and efficient way to achieve project milestones.

Job Requirements:

3-5 years relevant experience.
Matric. A related tertiary qualification (i.e. Advance Diploma or degree in Commerce, Engineering or Business) will be an added advantage.
Understanding of vehicle specifications
Good Product Knowledge
Knowledge of automotive industry
Presentation skills
Business acumen
EXCEL Advanced
