JOB SUMMARY:

A multinational agricultural company is seeking the above to prepare detailed 3-weeks production schedules, 3-months capacity view of the production plan for both firmed and non-firmed demands as well as the planning of production assets to ensure cost efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations Management / Inventory Management
A CPIM certification must be completed or in the course of studying towards it
Minimum 4 years’ experience in scheduling in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage
Good knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts and methodologies including MRP will be required
Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft applications and SAP R/3, APO would be an advantage
Must have a good understanding of inventory and stock management concepts and methodologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Preparing detailed 3-weeks production schedules.
Managing 3-Months capacity view of the production plan for both firmed and non-firmed demands.
Planning production assets to ensure cost efficiency.
Closely monitoring the result of Material Replenishment Planning (MRP) by analysing the system generated material requirement plan report.
Coordinating rework stock and ensuring the efficiency of the internal rework process.
Following up on the artwork labels change process to ensure correct version is applied, and minimizing the materials' write off.
Analysing production order fulfilment scheduling (actual vs. plan) and recommending actions for continuous improvement.
Proactively communicating a possible negative impact on the production plan and revising the production plan accordingly.
Purchasing raw materials and utilizing assets to operate the costs effectively.
Closely monitoring the result of MRP, looking after the material requirement plan system generated, and releasing PR for material.
Conducting production order fulfillment analyses and summaries for continuous improvement.
Maintaining the overall FF&P supply plan across a defined asset portfolio, providing options to meet variances in demand and supply and implementing Tactical Supply Plans where appropriate.
Co-ordinating along the supply chain, especially with FF&P Supply Chain Planners, Vendor Schedulers and Manufacturing to manage the production plan and ex-works shipments over a zero to end current season horizon.
Liaising with key contacts, including Order Management, FF&P SCPs, Plant/Unit Production teams, FF&P Asset Managers (Unit Superintendent), Vendor Schedulers, IMC Supply Managers/Distribution Planners.
Working closely with the Planning Manager to understand the supply requirements with the given monthly production plan.
Verifying stock accuracy with the Warehouse Manager.
Confirming production completion date and adherence to plan with Production Technicians and communicate an Advanced Delay Report (ADR) to the Asset Planner.
Understanding the site production line flexibility, production capacity and labour constraints in collaboration with Production Technicians, and work out weekly production plan with 4 weeks rolling.
Managing weekly production meeting with the Production, Engineering, HSEQ and Warehouse Departments.
Understanding the site production line flexibility and production capacity, labour constraints, and preparing a weekly production plan with 6 weeks rolling every Monday by effective use of assets.
Maintaining the overall supply/demand balance through a review of the net demand & uncertainty, creating balanced production plans over the current season (up to 12mth horizon).
Working with FF&P SCP's to ensure appropriate balance between manufacturing responsiveness, cost efficiency and inventory holding determining and implementing need to hold safety stock.
Developing and executing Tactical Supply Plans based on Regional Differentiation and ensuring the optimization of on-site inventory of components and formulated bulks to minimize working capital.
Working with the AI Asset Planner to ensure the supply of AI meets the FF&P plans.
Managing the Plant/Unit specific aspects (eg, codes, routings) of the range management process for regional SUs (product life-cycle), ensuring both the efficient introduction and removal of products where appropriate.
Measuring and reporting production performance, IRA etc. to the site ROP process.
Maintaining the overall supply/demand balance through a review of the sales forecasts & AI net demands, the creation of balanced production plans and the provision of a monthly inventory projection.
Working as a key member of the Supply Chain Team to continually improve the responsiveness and efficiency of the Supply Chain within the portfolio.
