Production management and Systems Engineer

POSITION INFO:

General Areas Of Responsibility

• Responsible for all technical aspects of a product/project from the conceptualization phase to implementation
• Product development detail execution (Systems engineering role) on allocated products in conjunction with engineering team
• Responsible for planning and coordination of project development, implementation and integration activities
• Ensure all contract requirements are adhered to
• Compilation of project schedules
• Identification of project milestones, internally and according to contract
• Identification of project risks and evaluation alternatives
• Update project plan as project progress
• Project progress reporting
• Liaise with suppliers and sub-contractors in terms of timely deliveries
• Liaise with client in terms of project scope, progress and slippages
• Administration of contracts, including the administration regarding permits

Qualifications And Experience

• Degree: B Eng. or BSc Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a development environment
• + 3 years specialized experience in a Hardware and software environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of the System Engineering and Product Development process
• Preference to experience in complex development / implementation of projects
